Pepe Pascual, head of Cencosud Ventures, the corporate VC arm of the Cencosud S.A. group, focused on investing in companies leading the acceleration of the future of retail.
He invests in companies from the seed to Series A+ stages in areas such as retail services, fintech, the future of commerce, logistics, and supply chain.
Pepe is Spanish but has been in Latin America for years. Before his current role, he was part of Wayra, the corporate VC firm of Telefónica. He studied at the Pablo de Olavide University in Seville, where he earned a bachelor’s degree.
