Today, we’ll have a conversation with Néstor Hugo Solari, the Co-Founder & CEO of Sigo Seguros.
Sigo Seguros is an insurance technology company providing affordable access to auto insurance through its bilingual, mobile-first platform.
- Sigo prices customers without using biased rating factors that disproportionately affect working-class communities, such as credit score. Néstor is Uruguayan, which is like a brother to me as an Argentinean but is based in Austin and spent most of his life in the US.
He’s working to address a market segment that is booming: the US-Spanish-speaking economy. Néstor is another case of a Wharton and Lauder Institute graduate who’s leading a business in the US addressing this market. After working in Goldman Sachs as an investment banker and in investment management, Néstor leveraged his experience at The Wharton School to pivot into entrepreneurship.
