Izabel Gallera is partner at Canary, which defines itself as an “Operator Fund run and backed by entrepreneurs”.
Izabel is on the younger end of VC partners, but has already been investing for almost 6 years, with a previous experience in Endeavor Brasil and in the real estate world. Before that, she worked at PepsiCo and Danone, and in a real estate startup, where she gained more operational skills.
Canary boasts to helping its seed investments get to a B Series B at a 3X higher rate than the global average. Although based mostly in Brazil, Canary invests in Latin American startups of any industry.
