Today we’re talking with Patricia Barros Arriagada, founder & CEO of Soquimat, a Chilean startup developing smart additives from biopolymers.
Patricia is a materials engineer and MBA from the University of Concepción — and she’s on a mission to bridge science, sustainability, and industry.
She won the Draper Founders Program in Santiago and later joined the Hero Training in Silicon Valley last November — and she shares what that experience was like, from pitching in the Valley to building a deep tech company outside of traditional startup hubs.
Why stay in Concepción? What is materials engineering anyway? And how do you turn scientific research into a real business?
These questions will be answered on Spotify and YouTube!
